Aeration Industries - Emergency Aeration?

June 7, 2021

Have a rotor fail, shaft or motor break on your aeration and mixing equipment or just need more air and mixing to meet permit?

Tired of the splashing and aerosoling of the wastewater to get aeration?

A few years back a WWTP in Myrtle Beach had and emergency and had enough of their outdated aeration equipment.  They had the plastic disctype rotors and the discs were breaking and causing two problems for the plant:

1.  Reduced treatment because they were not getting enough air and mixing and

2. The parts of the rotors that broke off were causing havoc in other parts of the plant by clogging and damaging pumps.

They did not have the time to be without treatment and needed help ASAP.

Help was just a phone call away

With one call the Aeration Industries has an emergency rental fleet that can have a unit on site and in operation within 48hrs of your call.

The Triton Aerator is the combination of mixer and aerator by using a 900 rpm mixing motor and a small re-genitive blower. This unit can float or be fixed mounted to a bridge/wall depending on your needs. The flexibility that the Triton brings is that the aeration can be turned off and you can still mix. The separation of aeration and mixing is what makes this system a great fit for any wastewater treatment facility. There is no need to drain a tank or to take your system offline. You can install this system and have no downtime.

When the plant in Myrtle Beach installed their first unit they were hooked. The Triton was easy to install and operate and they were able to maintain the level of treatment the system was designed to meet. After a few years this same system decided to retrofit the entire ditch with the Triton Aerators. When looking at the system we figured out that they could load the system even higher than originally thought giving them even more flexibility. Along with the increased capacity they no longer have issues with their pumps being damaged or clogged.

The Triton is just not for emergencies but can be used in place of your current outdated system.  The ability to rent the Triton makes it like a full scale trial and if you like it you can keep it after 10 month of renting and if not, return it.  90% of all rentals turn into a permanent installation because of what it can do.  Have an emergency?  Who you going to call?

We hope you will call us.
